Intervention:
The goal of this study is to look at the quality of life of patients with anal
cancer who have been treated with chemotherapy and radiation.

Study Objectives / Outcomes
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of life in patients treated with chemoradiation for anal cancer.

A secondary objective is to identify factors that are associated with quality of life in patients treated with chemoradiation for anal cancer

Enrollment Eligibility

Inclusion Criteria:1) Patients treated with chemoradiation at MDACC for non-metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal, between January 1993 and December 2003.

2) Patients initially treated with chemoradiation who subsequently had salvage surgery will be included.

3) Patients must be alive at the time of the study.

Exclusion Criteria:1) Patients who do not read English at the seventh grade level. Patients younger than 18.
