Inclusion Criteria:Age >/= 16 yrs.

Signed informed consent.

Zubrod status </= 3.

Adequate hepatic (bilirubin</=3mg/dL) & renal functions (creatinine </= 3mg/dL) unless felt to be due to disease.

Women and minority groups will be included.

Pts with Philedelphia chromosome (Ph) positive CML in myeloid blast phase; defined as presence of 20%of blasts in peripheral blood and/or bone marrow presence of extramedullary disease.

Pts may be previously untreated or have received prior treatment for blast phase CML.
