Description/
Intervention:		The goal of this research study is to measure the quality of life of patients
with pancreatic cancer and to study how the patients cope with the disease.
Another goal is to identify any factors that may be related to a better mental
adjustment to the disease and a better quality of life.

Study Objectives / Outcomes
Specific objectives of the proposed research are:
1.1 To examine psychological adjustment and quality of life (QOL) of patients with pancreatic cancer.
1.2 To assess whether illness uncertainty, sense of coherence, patient satisfaction and quality of physician-patient communication are associated with psychological adjustment and quality of life in patients with pancreatic cancer.

Inclusion Criteria:1) Patients are eligible for the study if they have a new diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Patients must be able to speak and read English fluently to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria:1) Exclusion criteria includes severe cognitive dysfunction.
